Egypt Intensifies Preparations Ahead of World Cup Match Against Belgium

The Egyptian national team is ramping up its preparations for the 2026 World Cup, with a key training session scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at 10 AM Seattle time. This practice will take place at Husky Stadium on the University of Washington campus as the team gears up for their opening match against Belgium.

The highly anticipated match between Egypt and Belgium is set to kick off on Monday at 10 PM Cairo time, marking the start of both teams’ campaigns in the group stage of the tournament.

Prior to the training session, media engagements will occur at Husky Stadium at 9:30 AM, featuring players Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Rami Rabia, and Yasser Ibrahim. They will discuss the team’s final preparations ahead of the crucial encounter.

In addition, Egypt’s head coach Hossam Hassan will hold a press conference at 3:30 PM Seattle time at Lumen Field, where the match will be hosted. He will address questions from various media outlets regarding the upcoming game against Belgium.

Egypt begins its World Cup journey on June 15 against Belgium, followed by a match against New Zealand on June 22. The team will conclude its group stage matches with a game against Iran on June 27, aiming to achieve positive results and advance to the knockout stages.
