The Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf is advancing its religious and awareness campaign in border areas by organizing 630 scientific lectures titled “Migration: Lessons and Insights.” These lectures are scheduled to take place on Monday, June 15, 2026, following the evening prayer, across several governorates including Red Sea, South Sinai, New Valley, Marsa Matrouh, North Sinai, and Suez.
Additionally, the ministry will launch a series of awareness caravans named “Mission of Honor” to the Red Sea, Marsa Matrouh, New Valley, and South Sinai governorates from Wednesday, June 17 to Friday, June 26, 2026. This initiative aims to intensify religious and educational activities in these regions.
These events are part of the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative and align with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Awqaf aimed at combating terrorism and extremism while addressing all forms of ideological radicalism. The ministry seeks to restore and build a national Egyptian identity based on religious principles while contributing to cultural development through promoting correct awareness and valuing knowledge and creativity.
The scientific lectures will focus on lessons derived from the Prophet Muhammad’s migration, emphasizing faith, patience, planning, and taking necessary actions. They aim to highlight the impact of migration on state-building and instill values of work, sacrifice, and contribution. Meanwhile, the awareness caravans will work towards enhancing religious and national consciousness through lessons, discussions, and intellectual meetings that reinforce correct concepts while supporting values of moderation and belonging.
The Ministry of Awqaf reiterates that intensifying religious and scientific activities in border governorates reflects its commitment to disseminating its message across all parts of the nation. This effort aims to foster direct communication with residents in these areas, contributing to building informed awareness while reinforcing values of tolerance and belonging. It also supports societal stability and cohesion while nurturing a well-rounded Egyptian citizen intellectually, nationally, and ethically.
