Ancelotti’s Bold Remarks Ahead of Brazil’s Clash with Morocco in World Cup 2026
Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, head of the Brazilian national team, expressed confidence ahead of the highly anticipated match against Morocco in the 2026 World Cup.
The tournament kicked off last Thursday and will conclude on July 19, featuring 48 teams from various continents.
Brazil is placed in Group C alongside Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti, aiming to reclaim glory and secure the title that has eluded them since 2002.
The Brazilian team is set to face Morocco in their opening group stage match at 1 AM Cairo and Saudi Arabia time, and at 2 AM UAE time on Sunday.
In comments reported by Brazilian outlet UOL, Ancelotti stated: “Fear is an essential element; in life, if you do not feel fear, you might see a lion and think it’s a cat.”.
The Italian coach continued: “Fear is an integral part of our lives. We feel anxious at such moments about delivering our best performance, but we must also have confidence. We are ready for tomorrow’s match as well as for the World Cup.”.
He added: “We have a team capable of competing against any team in the world. We are completely confident in that; our squad possesses quality, experience, and absolute belief in its ability to compete with anyone.”.
