The Czech Republic has taken the lead against South Korea, scoring the first goal of their match currently underway at the Arakon Stadium in Zapopan, Mexico, as part of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.

Defender Ladislav Krejci opened the scoring for the Czech team in the 59th minute, rising to meet a precise cross from Vladimir Coufal and directing a powerful header into the net, giving his side an advantage in the match.
