Dembele, who won the 2025 Ballon d’Or, has established himself as one of the top players in world football during his tenure at PSG. He has made 135 appearances for the club, netting 61 goals and providing 42 assists.

Before his time in Paris, the 29-year-old played for Barcelona, where he scored 40 goals and delivered 42 assists across 185 matches, helping the team clinch seven domestic trophies.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has committed to making a marquee attacking signing this summer. However, negotiations for Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez have hit a snag, with the club citing a €500 million (£432 million) release clause when rejecting an initial bid from Los Blancos.

According to TRT Spor, Real Madrid is now turning its attention towards Dembele, which could be one of the most significant attacking signings in recent history.

L’Equipe reports that PSG is keen on signing Olise from Bayern Munich this summer. A lucrative departure for Dembele could facilitate that transfer.

Additionally, Real Madrid is considering allowing Brahim Diaz to depart this summer, with Fenerbahce reportedly interested in acquiring the Moroccan international.

This opens up a potential spot in the squad for a new attacking player, especially since Rodrygo is expected to be sidelined for an extended period due to a serious knee injury.

However, as Dembele approaches his thirties, there exists a scenario where PSG might consider selling him if it means securing Olise’s transfer.
