Health Minister Discusses Medical Investment Strategy with Science Ajeer Representatives

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, held a meeting with representatives from Science Ajeer to explore collaboration and investment opportunities in the Egyptian healthcare sector. This initiative aligns with the government’s strategy to enhance partnerships with the private sector and develop the healthcare system according to global standards.

The Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to attracting serious investments in the health sector aimed at improving medical services and their quality. He noted that the upcoming phase will see an expansion in public-private partnership projects to develop healthcare infrastructure and provide comprehensive services for citizens.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the meeting focused on reviewing available investment opportunities and discussing collaboration mechanisms with the company to leverage its international expertise. He stressed that partnerships should be directed towards enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to Egyptians and supporting government efforts in establishing and developing medical facilities.

Company representatives presented their vision for expanding into the Egyptian market, reaffirming their commitment to aligning with national needs and local standards.

The spokesperson reiterated that strengthening partnerships with the private sector is a key component of the strategy to develop the health sector, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 aimed at achieving sustainable development and enhancing healthcare standards for citizens.
