Kuwaiti Minister Al-Jalahma Commends Referees Al-Anzi and Al-Naseem

In a move to support and encourage national sports talents, Dr. Tareq Al-Jalahma, the Kuwaiti Minister of State for Youth and Sports, held a meeting with international handball referees Maali Al-Anzi and Dalaal Al-Naseem. The meeting took place in the presence of Badr Al-Dhiab, President of the Asian Handball Federation, during the minister’s oversight of the ongoing 28th edition of the Asian Handball Clubs Championship for Men, hosted by Kuwait Club.

Minister Al-Jalahma praised the exceptional performance displayed by referees Al-Anzi and Al-Naseem throughout their officiating careers, commending their high standards in managing both local and international matches.

He emphasized that the participation of Kuwaiti women in officiating handball matches at such a commendable level on international platforms reflects the significant progress of Kuwaiti sports in general, and handball in particular, showcasing its positive presence on the global stage.

The minister reiterated his support for both referees and assured them of continued backing to ensure their successful sporting journey across various levels, wishing them further success and advancement.
