Egyptian Red Crescent Launches ‘Zad Al-Izza’ Aid Convoy to Gaza
The Egyptian Red Crescent launched the “Zad Al-Izza.. From Egypt to Gaza” aid convoy 209 this morning, sending several trucks towards the Gaza Strip. This initiative is part of its role as a national mechanism for coordinating assistance to the region.
The convoy is carrying approximately 3,139 tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, which includes food parcels, meat donations, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, and petroleum products to support hospitals and vital facilities in the area.
Additionally, the Egyptian Red Crescent has provided the residents of Gaza with essential items such as clothing and tents for those affected by the crisis.
Since the onset of the crisis, the Egyptian Red Crescent has been present at the border, ensuring that the Rafah crossing from Egypt remains open. The organization has been on high alert at all logistical centers and is committed to continuously facilitating humanitarian and relief aid through the efforts of over 65,000 volunteers within the association.
