Egypt’s Defense Minister Meets Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Deputy Prime Minister

Meeting Highlights.

General Ashraf Salim Zaher, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production of Egypt, met with Zukan Helez, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with his accompanying delegation currently visiting Egypt.

The meeting commenced with an official reception at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, where military bands performed the national anthems of both countries.

During their discussions, they addressed several topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance military cooperation between the two friendly nations.

General Zaher expressed his pride in the historical relations between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina, commending the growing prospects for military collaboration that serve the mutual interests of both sides.

In turn, Deputy Prime Minister Helez expressed appreciation for Egypt’s pivotal role in establishing regional security and stability, looking forward to further cooperation between the armed forces of both countries in the upcoming phase.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both ministers signed a defense cooperation agreement.

The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, along with leaders from various branches of both nations’ armed forces and the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Cairo.
