Ibrahim Hassan Reveals Surprise About Substitutions in Egypt vs. Brazil Match Ahead of World Cup

Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the Egyptian national team, has confirmed that an agreement has been reached to make 11 substitutions during the upcoming friendly match against Brazil, scheduled before the 2026 World Cup.

Egypt is set to participate in the World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the first time that 48 teams will compete in the tournament’s history. The Pharaohs find themselves in Group G alongside Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran.

Under the leadership of Hossam Hassan, the Egyptian team aims to make history by securing their first-ever World Cup victory while also striving to advance as far as possible in the tournament.

The friendly match against Brazil is slated for 1:00 AM on Sunday at Huntington Stadium in Ohio.

In a statement on the official website of the Egyptian Football Association, Ibrahim Hassan noted that all 11 substitutions will be utilized during the match.

He added that Egypt will don their red jersey with white shorts, while Brazil will wear their traditional yellow kit.
