The campaign of Florentino Pérez announced on Wednesday evening that if he wins the ongoing elections for the presidency of Real Madrid, Portuguese coach José Mourinho, former manager of the Belgium national team, will be appointed as the head coach of the club.

Pérez, the current president of Real Madrid, is facing a tough election battle against his rival Enrique Riquelme for the presidency of the prestigious club.

In a brief message responding to Riquelme’s opposition to Mourinho’s appointment, Pérez shared a video on the program “El Hormiguero” featuring Mourinho wearing a Real Madrid jersey.
