Hans Flick Named La Liga’s Best Coach After Historic Season with Barcelona
German coach Hans Flick has been awarded the title of Best Coach in La Liga for the 2025-2026 season after leading FC Barcelona to their second consecutive domestic title.
Under Flick’s leadership, Barcelona had a strong and remarkable season, finishing at the top of the league with 94 points, demonstrating their superiority over rivals and continuing to assert their dominance in Spanish football.
The German manager established a clear playing style and a stable tactical identity within the team, emphasizing tactical discipline and strong character, which directly reflected in the players’ performance throughout the season.
Barcelona had an almost perfect season, suffering only six defeats in 38 matches while scoring 95 goals. They achieved a historic record by winning all their home games, securing 19 victories out of 19 matches, becoming the first club to accomplish this feat in modern La Liga history.
This award marks Flick’s second consecutive win of the Best Coach title in La Liga, having triumphed in the final voting against José Bordalás, manager of Getafe, and Marcelino of Villarreal.
