Tourism Companies Commend Minister for Efforts and Celebrate Silver Award Win

A group of Egyptian tourism companies involved in organizing Hajj and Umrah trips expressed their sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to Sherif Fathy, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and to Samia Sami, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Head of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah. They recognized the tireless efforts and continuous follow-up throughout the Hajj season of 1447 AH.

In a collective statement, the companies highlighted that the professional coordination, meticulous care, and ongoing field presence by officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities directly contributed to overcoming all obstacles faced by Egyptian pilgrims. This ensured a distinguished Hajj experience that befits the name of the Arab Republic of Egypt, achieving the highest standards of quality, safety, and comfort for guests in all sacred sites.

The tourism companies also extended their heartfelt congratulations to the Egyptian state and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on receiving the “Silver Shield” from Saudi Arabia’s “Labyat” award for excellence in tourism services. They affirmed that this prestigious achievement is a well-deserved recognition for the significant efforts made throughout the season, reflecting organizational efficiency and an elevated level of administrative services provided, as well as a commendable image of Egypt.
