Algeria Faces Netherlands in Final Warm-Up Ahead of World Cup
The Algerian national team will take on the Netherlands in a friendly match today, Wednesday, at 9:45 PM local time in Rotterdam. This encounter serves as a crucial preparation for both teams ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which kicks off on June 11 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, featuring a record 48 teams.
Algeria aims to utilize this match to enhance player readiness before their World Cup campaign begins. They will face Argentina on June 17 in Kansas City, followed by a match against Jordan on June 23 in Santa Clara. Algeria’s group stage concludes with a clash against Austria on June 28, also in Kansas City.
On the other hand, the Netherlands is looking to achieve optimal readiness before their tournament participation. They have been drawn into Group F alongside Sweden, Tunisia, and Japan, starting their World Cup journey with a match against Japan on June 14.
