Marwan Attia Aims for World Cup Final with Egypt: ‘The Dream is Within Reach’

Marwan Attia, a player for the Egyptian national team, expressed his strong ambition to achieve a historic milestone with the Pharaohs during the 2026 World Cup, emphasizing that reaching the final match is not an impossible feat in football.

The national team player stated, “I feel that Egypt has a chance to advance to the later stages. I certainly hope to play in the World Cup final wearing the Pharaohs’ jersey; this dream is not far-fetched in football.”.

When asked about his prediction for the winner of the 2026 World Cup, Attia highlighted that France appears to be the frontrunner for the title, explaining that Les Bleus possess a remarkable group of players capable of securing victory.

Egyptian football fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming match between Egypt and New Zealand in the second round of Group G, as the Pharaohs aim for their first-ever win in World Cup history.

The Egyptian team competes in Group G alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand under head coach Hossam Hassan, who hopes to lead his squad to an unprecedented achievement on the global stage.
