As the football atmosphere intensifies ahead of the tournament, various communities have shown their backing for their home teams in diverse ways. The Egyptian diaspora has united to support the national team in its opening match against Belgium.

Due to the distance to Washington State, Egyptians from New York and New Jersey traveled to show their support for the national team at the World Cup.
