Egypt’s National Team Depart Spokane for Seattle Ahead of Belgium Clash in World Cup 2026

The Egyptian national football team, under the management of spokane-ahead-of-belgium-clash-in-world-cup-2026/">Hossam Hassan, has departed Spokane, Washington, heading to Seattle in preparation for their opening match against Belgium in the 2026 World Cup.

Prior to their departure, the team conducted their final training session at Gonzaga University’s stadium. They will conclude their preparations with one last practice at Husky Ballpark on Sunday morning, local time in Seattle.

Hossam Hassan held a meeting with the players before training, emphasizing the importance of starting the tournament strongly. He expressed confidence in the players’ abilities and their extensive experience, especially after competing in several high-profile friendly matches recently.

The training session was attended by Hani Abou Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association and supervisor of the national team, along with Khaled El-Darandaly, Vice President of the association, and council members Hamada El-Sharbini and Mostafa Abou Zahra, who came to support the players and coaching staff ahead of the crucial match.
