Vinicius Junior Equalizes for Brazil Against Morocco in World Cup 2026

Brazil managed to equalize against Morocco, bringing the score to 1-1 during their match at MetLife Stadium in the United States, as part of the opening round of the group stage in the 2026 World Cup.

Vinicius Junior scored for Brazil in the 32nd minute with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area, following an assist from Bruno Guimarães. Morocco’s goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou, was unable to stop the shot.

The 2026 World Cup kicked off last Thursday and is set to conclude on July 19, featuring participation from 48 teams across various continents.

Brazil is placed in Group C of the tournament alongside Scotland and Haiti, as they aim to reclaim glory and secure their first title since 2002.
