African Club Invites Zamalek for Friendly Matches Celebrating League Titles
The Zamalek Sporting Club has received an official invitation from Tunisia’s Club Africain to play two friendly matches, celebrating the recent league titles both clubs secured in their respective countries during the 2025-2026 season.
The letter sent by the Club Africain management included congratulations to Zamalek for winning the Egyptian Premier League title for the 2025-2026 season, alongside a proposal to organize two festive matches between the teams.
In a related context, Hussein Labib, Chairman of Zamalek, also extended his congratulations to Dr. Mohsen Al-Trabelsi, President of Club Africain, on the recent achievement of the Tunisian team in clinching their domestic league title, reflecting the mutual respect between both clubs.
According to the invitation, the first match is scheduled to take place in Tunisia during the last week of July, while the second match will be held in Egypt at a date to be agreed upon later, accommodating both clubs’ commitments.
The Club Africain emphasized in its letter that this initiative is a tribute to the historical ties between the two clubs and a celebration of their respective league victories.
Meanwhile, Zamalek’s management is currently reviewing the proposal in coordination with the coaching staff and football administration to make a final decision after assessing all technical and organizational aspects.
