This edition of the World Cup will feature an unprecedented format, with three opening ceremonies held in three different cities instead of a single traditional event, highlighting the collaborative spirit of hosting the tournament among the three nations.

Approximately 15 renowned artists from around the globe are expected to participate in the opening festivities, including Colombian star Shakira, who will perform the official song for this World Cup edition.

The ceremony will commence at 11 AM local time in Mexico, which corresponds to 8 PM in Cairo and Mecca, and 9 PM in Abu Dhabi. The event is expected to last around 70 minutes.

The program will feature artistic performances inspired by Mexican heritage and culture, along with musical segments involving Shakira and Nigerian rapper Burna Boy, who will present the official song to a global audience.

Shakira is also anticipated to perform her World Cup anthem “Dai Dai,” which has gained significant popularity, surpassing 100 million views across various digital platforms since its release.
