Khaled El Ghandour Reveals Latest Negotiations Between Al Ahly and Akram Tawfik

Khaled El Ghandour, a prominent sports broadcaster, has revealed that Akram Tawfik is currently in Cairo for his annual vacation, coinciding with serious discussions regarding his potential return to Al Ahly.

During his program on Al Mehwar, El Ghandour mentioned that Tawfik has reached out to Sayed Abdel Hafiz, a member of Al Ahly’s board of directors, to arrange a meeting between the two parties to discuss the possibility of finalizing his return to the club.

He noted that Tawfik is showing significant flexibility in negotiations, with an agreement between both sides appearing to be imminent. Only a few final details remain before a conclusive arrangement can be reached.

El Ghandour added that there is a possibility for Tawfik to terminate his contract with Qatari club Al Shamal and sign with Al Ahly simultaneously if all parties reach a final agreement in the near future.
