Egyptian Fans Rally Support for National Team Ahead of Brazil Match

The Egyptian national football team received a warm welcome from fans in the United States ahead of their friendly match against Brazil, scheduled for early Sunday, June 7. This match is part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.

The Pharaohs are set to face a challenging test against Brazil at 1:00 AM local time, as they finalize their preparations for the global tournament.

Outside the team’s residence in Ohio, a significant crowd gathered to support the players and coaching staff, chanting national anthems and encouraging phrases. This scene highlighted the anticipated support for the team during their World Cup journey.

Fans showed their support by holding banners and pictures of key players, including Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush. Many supporters wore jerseys emblazoned with the names and images of their football heroes.

All eyes are on the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, featuring historic participation from various national teams.

The Egyptian team will compete in Group F alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand—a group that promises to be challenging.

Egypt will kick off its World Cup campaign with a tough match against Belgium on June 15 at 10:00 PM Cairo time.
