Ayman Younes Backs Hazem Emam for Zamalek Presidency

Ayman Younes, a former star of Zamalek, has expressed his support for Hazem Emam to take over as president of the club in the upcoming period, asserting that Emam possesses the qualities necessary to lead the iconic team.

In remarks made on ON Sport, Younes stated, “I nominate Hazem Emam for the presidency of Zamalek. He is a person with charisma and acceptance, and he has excellent opinions. I oppose any attempts to portray him as unsuitable for administrative roles.”.

He continued, “Hazem is very smart and capable of playing a significant role at Zamalek. I strongly encourage him to take on this position, and I will certainly support him in this endeavor.”.

Younes also mentioned the possibility of running for elections himself or alongside Emam, adding, “If there is someone else who shares a vision and has ideas like esteemed figures such as Engineer Mohamed Hassan Helmy or Dr. Kamal Darwish, then why not?”.

It is worth noting that Zamalek is currently facing administrative challenges, having been suspended from player registrations 17 times due to overdue payments owed to former coaches and players. Additionally, the club lacks the financial liquidity needed to settle these outstanding dues at present.
