Egypt and Bosnia Discuss Military Technology Transfer and Manufacturing Cooperation

Egypt-Bosnia Talks.

Dr. Salah Suleiman Jambalat, Minister of State for Military Production, welcomed Zokan Heliz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during an official visit to several military production companies. The discussions focused on cooperation in defense industries.

The meeting was attended by a high-level delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the head of the Egyptian Armed Forces’ Armament Authority, and several officials from the Ministry of Military Production and the National Authority for Military Production.

The visit included extensive discussions regarding the manufacturing and technological capabilities of both sides, exploring areas of mutual interest for collaboration, integration, and knowledge exchange. Emphasis was placed on the importance of training human resources, which are fundamental to the manufacturing process.

A film was presented showcasing the key military products from military production companies and their technological capabilities, highlighting their role in meeting the armed forces’ needs for various weapons, ammunition, equipment, and advanced defense systems. The film also illustrated how these companies contribute to civil sector projects by utilizing surplus production capacities.

During his speech, Minister Jambalat expressed his appreciation for the attendees, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to implementing directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to enhance international cooperation in various industrial and technological fields. He noted this as a cornerstone for achieving sustainable development and fostering effective partnerships with friendly nations.
