Yess Torup Officially Leaves Al Ahly After Financial Settlement

Yess Torup, the Danish coach of Al Ahly, has finalized his departure from the club after signing a financial settlement agreement. An official announcement regarding the end of his contract is expected within the next few hours.

A source within Al Ahly revealed to “Al-Aweek” that both parties reached an agreement that ensures the coach receives his outstanding payments. This includes his salary for June, a severance fee equivalent to three months’ salary, an additional month’s salary, and the legal percentage owed to his agent.

Torup arrived in Cairo with his agent to meet with club officials and finalize all details related to the termination of his contract before the official announcement of his departure.

During his tenure, the Danish coach led the team to win the Egyptian Super Cup but was unable to secure other titles, falling short in the Egyptian Premier League, CAF Champions League, and Egypt Cup.
