Ahly Finalizes Agreement with Coach Yes Turup Ahead of Departure

The Al Ahly Club is set to conclude its dealings with Danish coach Yes Turup, having reached a final agreement to mutually terminate his contract. An official announcement regarding his departure is expected within the next few hours.

Details of the Final Agreement Between Ahly and Yes Turup

In recent days, intensive negotiations took place between Al Ahly’s management and the Danish coach to finalize the terms of their separation, particularly concerning financial aspects related to the penalty clause and remaining dues in his contract.

Sports journalist Hani Hathout reported that significant progress was made in the negotiations after both parties found common ground, with contributions from several club officials, including Yassin Mansour and Sayed Abdel Hafiz. They reached a consensus that resolved the disputes regarding the contract termination.

Compensation Package Ends Yes Turup’s Tenure

According to the agreed details, Turup will receive his salary for June, along with the penalty clause stipulated in his contract, which is equivalent to three months’ pay. Additionally, he will be compensated with one extra month’s salary for the complete termination of their contractual relationship, bringing his total compensation to five months’ salary.

The agreement also includes a 10% payment to the coach’s agency as part of the final settlement among all parties involved. This arrangement allows for the official closure of this chapter and enables Al Ahly to begin its search for a new head coach for the upcoming season.

A close source revealed that the new coach could arrive in Cairo within a few days to finalize official procedures and commence preparations with the team for the upcoming season. The management aims to resolve this matter swiftly to ensure technical stability.
