Written byFerdous Saeed

Former Al Ahly player Amr El-Hadidi has expressed his views on the psychological management of players by coach Youssef Torab. He criticized Torab for failing to adequately support the players mentally, which he believes has impacted their performance.

During a recent interview on Radio Sport, El-Hadidi highlighted Tunisian midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan as one of the standout talents in African football. He praised Ben Ramadan’s significant technical skills and potential to enhance any team he joins.

El-Hadidi noted that Ben Ramadan is among the best players in his position across Africa and commended his unique physical and technical abilities.

He also discussed the case of fellow player Amr El-Gazzar, who experienced severe frustration due to challenging circumstances, leading him to step away from football temporarily to focus on his marriage.

The former player emphasized that many talented athletes require a coach capable of psychologically supporting and motivating them before addressing technical aspects. He pointed out that the lack of such support has adversely affected several players with great potential.
