Turkey and Paraguay Reveal Lineups for World Cup 2026 Clash

Vincenzo Montella, the head coach of the Turkish national team, has announced his lineup for the upcoming match against turkey-and-paraguay-set-for-crucial-world-cup-2026-clash/">Paraguay in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match is set to take place at 6 AM on Saturday at the San Francisco Stadium, as part of the group stage competition in the tournament.

This year’s World Cup is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, featuring a record 48 teams for the first time in history.

Turkey’s Lineup Against Paraguay

Goalkeeper: Ugurcan Cakir.

Defenders: Merih Demiral – Abdulkerim Bardakci – Mert Müldür – Ferdi Kadıoğlu.

Midfielders: Kerem Aktürkoğlu – Hakan Çalhanoğlu – İsmail Yüksek – Arda Güler.

Forwards: Kenan Yıldız – Yunus Akgün.

Paraguay’s Lineup Against Turkey

Goalkeeper: Orlando Gale.

Defenders: Omar Alderete – Juan José Cáceres – Junior Alonso – Gustavo Gómez.

Midfielders: Diego Gómez – Miguel Almirón – Andrés Cubas – Matías Galarza.

Forwards: Julio Enciso – Isidro Pita.

Turkey began its World Cup campaign with a defeat against Australia, losing 2-0 in Group D. Meanwhile, Paraguay suffered a heavy loss to the United States, falling 4-1 in their opening match.
