Barcelona Celebrates Hamza Abdel Karim After World Cup Debut

FC Barcelona has sent a congratulatory message to young star Hamza Abdel Karim following his debut with the Egypt national football team at the 2026 World Cup.

Hamza Abdel Karim is competing in the ongoing 2026 World Cup, hosted in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.

The club shared a post on their official Facebook page featuring a photo of the Egyptian player, stating: “Hamza Abdel Karim made history as the youngest Egyptian to participate in the World Cup,” highlighting his achievement during this milestone appearance.

Barcelona further congratulated their player, saying: “We celebrate our Egyptian player Hamza Abdel Karim, who began his World Cup journey by participating in a tough match against Belgium, which ended in a 1-1 draw in Group G.”.

Hamza Abdel Karim played in the match between Egypt and Belgium on Monday evening at Lumen Field in Seattle, marking the opening round of the group stage that also includes Iran and New Zealand alongside Egypt.
