Egypt’s National Team Inspects Stadium Ahead of World Cup Opener Against Belgium

The coaching staff of Egypt’s national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan and team manager Ibrahim Hassan, inspected the pitch at Lumen Field in Seattle, USA, just hours before their opening match against Belgium in the 2026 World Cup.

Lumen Field will host the highly anticipated match between Egypt and Belgium as part of the first round of group stage matches, scheduled to kick off at 10:00 PM Cairo time, which is 12:00 PM local time in Seattle.

Ensuring Stadium Readiness

The technical team’s visit to the stadium was aimed at checking the condition of the pitch and all arrangements for the upcoming match, as part of their final preparations before facing the Belgian team.

The coaching staff aims to create optimal conditions for the players ahead of kickoff, given that this match is crucial for Egypt’s journey toward qualifying for the next round.

Egypt hopes to secure a positive result against Belgium to provide a strong start to their World Cup campaign, relying on a roster filled with experienced international players, including Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush.
