Egypt’s National Team Completes Training in Spokane Ahead of Belgium Clash in World Cup 2026

The Egypt national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, conducted its final training session at Gonzaga University in Spokane, USA, before departing at 5 PM local time for Seattle. The team is preparing for their last practice on Sunday ahead of their opening match against Belgium in the 2026 World Cup.

The final training session will take place at Husky Ballpark at 10 AM Seattle time, which is 8 PM Cairo time.

During Saturday’s practice, Hossam Hassan motivated the players with a speech emphasizing the importance of starting strong against Belgium. He highlighted that the squad features experienced players who have participated in several challenging friendlies during recent training camps, including matches against Spain, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil.

Notable figures present at the training included Hani Abou Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association and supervisor of the national team; Khaled El Darandly, Vice President of the Association; along with board members Hamada El Sherbini and Mostafa Abu Zahra.
