Egyptian Clubs Association Announces Penalties for Cairo Cup Final and Third Place Match

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association announced the penalties related to the Cairo Cup final matches and the third-place playoff, in accordance with the competition regulations and the violations and penalties list for the 2025-2026 season.

Article 54 of the Cairo Cup regulations, which pertains to disciplinary actions including yellow cards for technical, administrative, medical staff, and players, has also been applied.

In detail, during the match between ZED FC and Wadi Degla, Wadi Degla player Mahmoud El-Sayed Ahmed Abdel-Latif has been suspended for one match and fined 2,500 EGP after being sent off for receiving two yellow cards in the same game.

In the match between ENPPI and Al-Masry, ENPPI player Aqtai Abdallah Basyouni Arab has been suspended for one match and fined 5,000 EGP for receiving his third yellow card.

Furthermore, a financial penalty of 150,000 EGP has been imposed on Al-Masry club, along with a one-match ban on their supporters due to collective abusive behavior for the second time during the tournament.
