Youth Ministry Prepares 1,200 Youth Centers to Broadcast Egypt’s Matches in 2026 World Cup
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced the allocation of 1,200 youth centers across various governorates in Egypt to broadcast the national team’s matches during the 2026 World Cup. These centers will feature large screens and facilities designed to accommodate fans.
This initiative is part of the ministry’s plan to enhance the community role of youth centers, which serve as key gathering points for citizens and open spaces that bring together different age and social groups, thereby fostering a sense of belonging and positive interaction within society.
Jawhar Nabil explained that this initiative aims to provide an exceptional communal viewing experience for Egyptian fans, ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity to support the national team during the tournament. This effort reinforces national pride and highlights the importance of sports as a means of uniting community members.
The broadcast plan will cover all governorates through strategically located youth centers, ensuring that the service reaches as many citizens as possible. This aligns with the ministry’s commitment to maximizing participation in this communal experience.
The ministry also emphasized that youth centers will continue to play their role as developmental and community entities, consistently serving society. During major sporting events and national occasions, they will transform into platforms that unite Egyptians in support of their national team during international competitions.
